I am a doctor working in Saudi Arabia. I have passed USMLE step 1, am appearing for step 2 CK next month & have appointment to appear for step 2 CS in end of Nov 2004.

My plan is to give CS & step 3 & apply for H1/J1 if get residency.

Taking everything into consideration, should I try for F2 as my wife's dependent or tourist visa for appearing in the exam (CS) & family visit.
