how to know if you pass or fail
|
if you have no EQ, like most of us, try doing this trick. After 21 days or so, go to ECFMG website and try to apply for another step 1 exam, during the process of applying the computer will respond if you can proceed with your application or not, if it denies your application, it will say something like " Our records show that you have passed your step 1 already and not eligible to take the exam again " if they let you apply pa, sorry baka you didnt make it or baka too early try day 28. good luck!

it might also be helpful to note that they release the scores on wednesdays. At least that's what the USMLE website says.

Is the ECFMG site reliable to confirm if u pass or not? How early is early and how late is late? Will it show on OASIS the score you got from the test? Please let me know..thanks..I just gave Step 1 about 3 days ago. Where is the best site I can visit to check on my result?Please..please reply...

How to know if you pass or fail
|
Hi erapmd,
I've tried your advise--the website did not allow me re-register for my step1, however, it gave no indication as to whether I passed or failed my exam. The following is the actual statment made by the ECFMG website: "Our records indicate that you are already registered for this Step or Step Component. You may not apply for a Step or Step Component if you are already registered for that Step or Step Component. If you fail or do not complete a Step or Step Component, you may submit another application for this exam, but certain time limits apply when retaking a Step or Step Component. For complete information, refer to Reexamination and Reapplication in the ECFMG Information Booklet and Retakes in the USMLE Bulletin of Information". Any advice? Is there anything I did or the way their program responds has been changed? Thank you. |
